One Bite Review Of The Gritty Sandwich From Urban Saloon (Philadelphia)
So the other day I came across this tweet from my local watering hole, Urban Saloon.
Right away, I knew I had to have this thing in my mouth. So what better way to kick off the 2018-19 Flyers season than by testing out the hottest new item in Philadelphia. The Gritty.
P.S. – I swear to god I went into that video knowing that I was going to hype up the sandwich but then putting a disclaimer at the end that it’s actually not that great. I figured there was no chance that a sandwich that looks like that could be any good. But once I started eating it? No disclaimer needed. Maybe a 9.7 is a little high and the name definitely adds some bonus points. But at the very least to even the toughest critic, that’s an 8.2. And that’s if you’re stone cold sober and used to eating caviar or some other rich bullshit. The Gritty needs to stay on the menu on a long term contract.
